This year, Sediver will supply to NTDC, 500 000 units of 160kN fog-type silicone-coated toughened glass insulators, for NPP4 project in Pakistan.
The power arc tests for this specific project represented a major technological challenge.
It was a world first since such tests had never been performed on such long strings, at such high short-circuit current, and last but not least on silicone-coated toughened glass insulators !
That is why SEDIVER retained the High-Power Station of EDF Power Networks Lab “Les Renardières” in France, to carry out the qualification tests on the insulator strings.
Sediver complete strings and accessories have successfully passed the various tests.
