Sediver Expands West Memphis, Arkansas Capacity

Governor Sanders met with Sediver at the Paris Air Show this year

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (August 12, 2025) – Following a meeting with Governor Sanders and a team from Arkansas at this year’s Paris Air Show, Sediver, a Blackstone portfolio company, is proud to announce the expansion of its manufacturing capacity in West Memphis, Arkansas. This strategic investment will double the facility’s output capacity, creating 25 new jobs to support the growing demand for transmission line products in the United States.

“Our West Memphis facility is strategically located to serve customers across the United States, and supply the accelerating demand for Sediver’s solutions. By manufacturing and testing power transmission line insulators locally, we bring our global expertise closer to the field, ensuring utilities can strengthen grid reliability with speed, precision, and full compliance with their standards. This capacity expansion investment will create local jobs, and reinforce Sediver’s mission to serve our customers with reliable, high-quality solutions made in the USA,” said Cleber Angelo, Executive Vice President and Head of the Americas for Sediver.

“Our West Memphis facility stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence in the United States. By strategically positioning ourselves to meet the dynamic needs of our U.S. customers, we are not only enhancing grid reliability but also fostering local job creation and community development. This expansion underscores our dedication to delivering high-quality products with local expertise, and reinforces our mission to drive sustainable growth. We are excited about the future and the opportunities this facility brings,” said Erik Göthlin, CEO of Sediver.

“Sediver’s West Memphis expansion reflects the increasingly critical role it plays, providing innovative solutions that strengthen the power grid. At Blackstone, we are committed to supporting companies like Sediver that are positioned to benefit from the increasing investment in infrastructure required to meet growing electricity demand,” said Juergen Pinker, Senior Managing Director at Blackstone.

“After meeting with Sediver’s Executive Vice President and Americas Head, Cleber Angelo, during my economic development trip to Paris earlier this year, I am excited they have decided to expand their facility here in Arkansas,” said Governor Sanders. “Just this year, we have strengthened our workforce, increased our energy capacity, and witnessed unparalleled economic growth in every corner of our state – and businesses like Sediver play a huge part in our success. Thank you, Sediver, for your ongoing investments in the Natural State.”

“International companies are increasingly taking notice of Arkansas as a great state for doing business. Sediver has been operating in Arkansas since 2017 and has recognized the value our state offers – and they are increasing their investment in our state by creating 25 new jobs,” said Clint O’Neal, executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. “With this expansion, Sediver will be growing in West Memphis and building new manufacturing capacity in the region. This will be a significant win for the West Memphis community, providing new economic opportunities for the city and local residents.”
